We are pleased to inform you that our office is now resuming our regular business hours for appointments. At Wellworks, we take our patients' health and safety very seriously. We strive to continue to provide exceptional care in an environment that is safe for our patients and entire Wellworks team. We have taken great measures to prepare and implement COVID-19 safety protocols guided by resources from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA). We want to share our new safety practices and let you know what you will expect when you come to our office.

  • We ask that adult patients arrive on time and alone for an appointment. Minor patients may be accompanied by one adult. Visitors and early arrivals are encouraged to can wait in their cars.

  • If you are new to our office, to help us be prepared for your arrival we ask you to fill out the patient paperwork found on our website to decrease your time in our waiting room.

  • Our staff and patients are required to wear masks. When you arrive, you will be asked COVID-19 screening questions and we will happily reschedule appointments for all patients as necessary.

  • Upon entering, you will be immediately directed to wash or sanitize your hands. We are practicing safe distancing and ask that you mindfully keep a 6 foot distance between other patients.

  • Our staff has been trained on CDC procedures to diligently keep touched surfaces, instrumentation and overall office clean and disinfected following each patient and regularly throughout each day. This includes disinfecting all tables, equipment, and pillow cases as was our standard procedure prior to COVID-19.

  • Our staff schedules have been amended to limit the number of people in the clinic to less than 15 at all times.

  • While the CDC does not recommend wearing gloves for patient care during manual therapy, we are stocked and they can be worn at patient request. The CDC recommends frequent hand-washing as the most effective prophylaxis; and our therapists perform hand hygiene before and after every patient.

  • Remote/ video appointments are available to all who are interested

We are committed to making our clinic a safely and health environment for all. Let us know if you have any questions! If you are concerned for any reason, please call our office and speak with your therapist.
